SMH & The Age: Fintech Waddle in talks with local banks after RBS deal in UK
Colin Kruger of the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age has today revealed the big news that Waddle has partnered with leading UK bank The Royal Bank of Scotland, in a deal in which the Waddle platform will be offered to their business clients across the UK and Ireland.
The announcement of the partnership concludes a successful six-month pilot program, which has resulted in the launch of a new product, Natwest Rapid Cash.
Waddle's co-founder Simon Creighton talked about the possibility of further deals with local and international banks. He said "Most of the big banks already do this product, they just do it on decades old systems that are in dire need of improvement."
